Matilda & Co was established in 2021 by Louise, who struggled to find cute harnesses for her Shih Tzu's that looked stylish, and fitted well. 
 
She wanted to combine her knowledge of design, having trained as a fashion designer at the London College of Fashion, with her huge love of flowers having been a florist for 18 years, combined with her first love of dogs. And so, Matilda & Co was born.  
 

Matilda & Co is based in Essex, a short distance from central London but edged on the Essex coast. 

We want to offer a solution to other pup pawrents and create products that they love as much as we do.  

 

A big part of our mission along with supplying beautiful accessories for your dog is to support charities from sales. We have been huge supporters of charities offering support to disabled dogs after our own fur baby Matilda was diagnosed with IVDD back in 2016. We want to spread awareness of this condition and help others who find themselves faced with this illness.
